The first upgradable Wii modchip is called Wiikey. The incredible, fantastic, Wiikey modchip for the Nintendo Wii has arrived! This is one of the easiest modchips to install on any system. A quicksolder pattern on the PCB board removes the need for wires. All you need to do us solder onto the designated parts and you're finished! This awesome chip also boasts upgradeablity via Disc or DVD!

Other Features include: An optional off feature and LED to let you know when your Wiikey is on or off.

The WiiKey is also fully flash upgradeable mod chip, now as we know this means nothing unless the team behind the chip is as vigilant about working on firmware updates as they are producing the chip. With Team Xeno you can be assured their will be many firmware updates over the year, promising to add cool and handy new features to the chips function. For NTSC consoles, the WiiKey mod chip will support games from all NTSC regions no matter which NTSC region console you own. They have also got partial support for NTSC games working on PAL systems at around 75%, expect this to be improved with flash updates over the next few months. Another handy feature is the wireless design, the WiiKeys PCB slips into place on the drive for quick soldering directly to the board without the use of wires.
